Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Bondhu. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Bondhu ("Bondhu", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the Bondhu mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use Bondhu, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction;
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law;
  • Not have been previously removed from Bondhu for violating these Terms.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide, including your age, is accurate and truthful.

3. Your account

  • You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account;
  • Each person may only create and maintain one account;
  • You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

4. Acceptable use

When using Bondhu, you agree that you will not:

  • Post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful;
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other members;
  • Use the Service for any commercial solicitation, advertising, or spam;
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation;
  • Upload content that infringes another party's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Attempt to access another member's account, scrape profile data, or interfere with the Service's normal operation;
  • Use the Service if you have been convicted of, or are required to register as, a sex offender.

5. Content you share

You retain ownership of the photos, messages, and other content you submit to Bondhu ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You're solely responsible for the content you post and confirm that you have the right to share it.

6. Matching & conduct between members

Bondhu provides tools to help you discover and connect with other members through compatibility-based matching. We do not conduct criminal background checks on members and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment and caution when interacting with, or meeting, other members — including in person. Always meet in a public place and tell a friend or family member about your plans when meeting someone new.

7. Subscriptions & payments

Certain features are available only through a paid subscription or plan. Pricing, billing frequency, and included features are shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refund requests are handled under our separate Refund Policy.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or harmful conduct, or if required to do so by law. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the conduct of any member will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Legal Entity Name] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including but not limited to your interactions with other members.
